All you need to bring is bring your own dress or swimsuit and your favourite shade of red lippy to really bring the look to life.

Marilyn fundraising is already making a real, tangible impact supporting projects to provide vital in-house anti-cancer treatments for patients, new diagnostic equipment for early detection, and post-treatment supports focused on patient care and comfort.

9.30 – 10.50am Event check-in – at the Shoreline Hotel. Collect your Marilyn ‘access’ wristband for the beach. Make those final adjustments to your Marilyn ‘look,’  mingle with your fellow Marilyns, enjoy the vibes, and take some close ups!.

11:00am Head down to the beach – head to the sand for the paddle itself. When all is in order with the tides – we get in, make a splash, pose for some pics… or some may prefer to stay dry and enjoy the fun from the beach while sashaying around and showing off their Marilyn style.

12:00 Noon Back to the Shoreline – Join our Marilyn Mixer after party. Pick up your goodie bag, enjoy some refreshments, dance and sing away to some retro hits.

Circa 1:30pm - The lights go down for another year.

This red-carpet affair isn’t just for the close-ups and the Tinseltown star quality (although it will be full of both!), it’s to make a real difference for all the women who come to the Mater Hospital in need of cancer care.

Our goal this year is to provide urgent funding where it’s needed most in our hospital so we can speed up cancer diagnosis, enhance treatments and provide world-class care to the women from all over Ireland who come through our doors.
